The raaslila theme is a popular theme with Nathdwara artists and this lace pichhwai incorporates all the elements of a raaslila pichhwai: Krishna and Radha in the centre with a ring of dancers, the forested glade, two groups of musicians, peacocks, celestial vimaanas and cows.

A variety of meshes have been used to create special effects within this complex pictorial composition.
